Specification of Project

For over the past decade and multiple stadium name changes, our BevStream Corp. team has been proud to be a part of several major renovations to Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins.

First called upon in 2007, we were excited to play a role in an extensive $250 million renovation project aimed at improving the fan experience. The job involved building additional concourse spaces, expanding the concession, bar and lounge areas, and revamping the luxury suites and stadium club section.

One of South Florida’s most reputable construction companies, Stiles Construction, awarded BevStream the contract to design, furnish, and install an entirely new Beverage Conduit Piping System for the 2007 renovation project. This project involved removing all existing Beverage Piping Systems and installing over 25,000 linear feet of new Piping Systems from four new central supply areas to every concession stand, bar and suite throughout the stadium.

While the scale and location of the project made exciting work, our team knew they needed to remain focused throughout the project — we were limited by a very strict deadline. With many important upcoming events on the venue’s schedule and an aggressive 18-week start-to-finish construction time frame, our crews worked virtually around the clock to meet the desired deadline.

By accelerating development of the distribution system’s design and layout, as well as coordinating the field work among the other trades, we completed all critical project milestones ahead of schedule. Through effective project management techniques, our team completed an installation of almost five miles of piping for beer, soda, and CO2 lines in just 16 weeks, shaving two weeks off of the initial deadline. After receiving a nomination from Stiles Construction for our work on this project, the Construction Association of South Florida selected us as the 2007 recipient of their Craftsmanship Award.

Later in 2010, just prior to Super Bowl XLIV between the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts, we were called back to Miami to help with another aggressive site renovation adding more concession stands and bars in the stadium’s end zone areas. Despite only having a two week window to plan and execute all piping work, our team completed the project ahead of deadline and in time for a successful Super Bowl.

Once again in the summer of 2015, Hunt Construction (an Aecom Company) tapped BevStream for a $400 million renovation where we added dozens of new Piping Systems to new club areas and concession stands on three levels of the stadium. Additionally, our team was asked to design, engineer, furnish, and install a brand new Bulk CO2 System throughout the stadium – the largest and most sophisticated of its kind in any sports facility.

2017 brought phase 3 to the 2015 renovation project and BevStream was proud to return to add additional Piping and CO2 Systems to newly added concessions and bars.

Bevstream Corp is proud to have an important role in transforming Hard Rock (Dolphins) Stadium into a first-class Sports Venue, and to have been called back time and again for our proven quality of work and trusted expertise.
